On Yandex and Google maps, people search not only for addresses, but also for businesses. And this is really very convenient: you can see all the nearest cafes, service stations or hairdressers on the map and immediately see more detailed information about them (phone and website, opening hours, etc.).
If your company is still not registered on Yandex and Google maps, we recommend correcting this oversight, especially since it is quite easy to do. We have made detailed step-by-step instructions for you.
Registering an organization on Yandex maps
To register a company on Yandex maps, you social media marketing service must have a registered account in Yandex. If you do not have one, then first of all, create such an account:

In the list of services, go to “Directory” and click “Add organization”:
Fill in the company name and type of activity:
Next, indicate whether your company has a physical address: office, store, warehouse. If there is no address, then select the second option: "No, I have an online company." It is not recommended to indicate a fake address, as Yandex can verify the accuracy of the information provided.
Next, fill in the office address (store or warehouse), website address and phone number. The number will be displayed in the company profile, and clients will call it. Check access to the phone, an SMS will be sent to it or a call will be made for confirmation. Enter the code from the SMS immediately, since only 1 minute is given for confirmation.
After confirmation, you are taken to your company account. Fill out your profile as much as possible: add a logo, details, work schedule, additional contacts, and provide links to corporate groups on social networks. You can also specify up to three types of activities that your company is engaged in.
After making changes, do not forget to save them - the yellow "Save data" button at the bottom of the page.
When you go to the "My Applications" tab, you will see the confirmation status of your organization.
The "For confirmation" tab shows information about the confirmation of the company's registration. The "For changes" tab shows information about the approval of the changes made. The application can be approved, under consideration or rejected. Within a few days after your application is approved, information about your company will appear in Yandex search and maps.
